Super Bowl Party with Pizzazz
Party Ideas
Who hasn't been to a Super Bowl party? More often than not, the real fans are in the great room watching the TV  and everyone else is in the kitchen indulging in their version of Super Bowl - eating & drinking. Entertaining two groups of people at one time is not easy. Here are some tips to make it fun & easy.

 1.       Send an invitation full of fun and confetti to set the mood. Be sure to send them out early!

 2.       Decorate the house. Use banners & balloons to let people know which house. Colorful lights & footballs or fooze balls on tables. Convenient coolers help guests grab a drink without going far from the game.
Budget a Wedding
Write up a Wish List
Spend some time on web sites like The Knot and Monadnock Bridal Show. Write up a wish list is everything you could possibly wish for your wedding. THEN get price quotes.
Now is the time to pare down dollars to meet your budget. By getting prices on everything you can easily see what things you can 'live without'. You may find that some 'wish list items' are not as expensive as you thought and can easily be inserted into even a bare bones budget.

Reception (50% of budget)
1. Cut the guest list.

2. Think off-peak season and not Saturday to save thousands of dollars

3. Have your ceremony and reception in the same place

4. Use bigger tables so you need fewer centerpieces & shop off-season (black vases after Halloween, pink ones after Valentines day.

5. Serve beer, wine & a signature cocktail instead of a full bar.
 6. Serve comfort foods like barbecue chicken, mac & cheese, and corn. It's fun and cheaper

6. Skip the champagne toast.            read below
